Cramond man Keith will make sure Edinburgh Festival ends with a bang
3 SeptemberCramond man Keith Webb will be making sure that this year's Edinburgh Military Tattoo finishes with a bang on Sunday, as he presses the button to set off the dazzling fireworks display on the ramparts.
The display of rockets and Roman candles, brilliant colours, whiz-bangs, will cascade shimmering sparks trailing from Edinburgh's most famous landmark for the ultimate big bang.
Keith Webb, a Cramond-raised internationally acclaimed pyrotechnics expert is the man responsible for the great display, and will press the button on Sunday evening to launch the annual fireworks display marking the end of the Edinburgh Festival,
He'll set in chain a stunning sequence of colourful explosions - each meticulously timed to coincide with the sounds of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra - lighting up the city skies and visible for miles around.
The Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert has become a traditional closing act in the city's festival calendar, drawing 250,000 people eager to see one of the biggest displays in Europe.
